Microsoft Price Adjustments

Given current residual effects of Brexit, like many other companies, Microsoft pricing will be subject to a minor augmentation in the coming year. From January 1 2017, all new subscriptions in the coming year will be applicable to this change.

To continue providing quality service, the new pricing will be adjusted to increase by 13% for computer software and 22% for online cloud services to align more closely with European pricing. These changes ensure reasonable alignment across the region with this change an outcome of that assessment. Microsoft ensured no changes in prices on consumer services or prices for existing orders under price protection deals during the term of any agreements issued before January 2017.

The affected licensing agreements are as follows:

Open License Agreement
Enterprise Agreement
Cloud Solution Program (CSP)
Open Value & Open Value Subscription Agreement
Microsoft Products and Services Agreement (MPSA)
Select/Select Plus Agreement
ISV Royalty and Distribution Agreement
Service Provider License Agreement (SPLA)
Syndication (Price adjustment in effect from 1 Feb)
Microsoft Online Subscription Program

Note: For current business customers, existing orders under annuity volume licensing agreements for products that are subject to price protection will not be affected by these changes. Prices for new product additions under such volume licensing agreements and purchases under new contracts, however, will be subject to the pricing at the time of the order.
